Detailed Description:

The Arabian Canal is the biggest and most complex civil engineering project ever undertaken in the Middle East. It will become a globally recognized landmark destination for both visitors and residents. The 75 Km man-made water way will flow inland from the north, near Palm Jumeirah, to Dubai waterfront at Jabel Ali, and will feature a range of mixed-use development by some of the region's top developers.

This development is located inland to the east of the new Al Maktoum International Airport and will feature a mix of marinas, residential communities, business and entertainment center. Designed as a focal point for Dubai's cultural attraction and community events. The development will feature residential facilities, including hotels and indoor and outdoor leisure amenities.

Our Role:

  • Excavation of approx 33 km long X 100 m wide X 2 m deep section along the center line of the route of the canal, (Canal Inland).
  • Approx volume of excavation is 6.6 million cubic meter.
  • The works include removal of top soil and vegetation, excavation, trimming and preparation of excavated surfaces and moving of excavated materials from the edge of excavation on either side.
